The National Wheelchair Tennis Series caters for players of all abilities and is the entry-level tier of tournaments for wheelchair players in Great Britain.
All events are run by experienced, local organisers with the support of the Tennis Foundation. These tournaments are a great way to meet other wheelchair players in your region and give you the chance to test your game at a competitive level.
Every tournament has a Novice division providing a fun, supportive way to try out playing competitively.
The players with a bit more experience can enter the main draw and are able to gain points at each tournament according to their finishing position. At the end of year awards will be given to the top ranked male and female players in both Singles and Doubles.
Every player who competes in a National Series tournament, either in the Novice or Main draw will then be eligible to compete in the National Finals Weekend. This weekend is run alongside the Wheelchair Nationals and is a celebration of wheelchair tennis in Great Britain. It is a fun, social weekend with an Annual Awards dinner and social activities throughout the weekend.
