AEGON Team Tennis Schools Senior Students
The aim of this competition is to encourage lower rated players to play competitive tennis and provide the team with an opportunity to compete in a national final.
The entry period is in September with matches being played October through to March (see entry form for exact dates). Teams compete in a local league stage, which leads to regional knockout rounds and a national final.
Eligibility, Format & Scoring:
- Players must be a rating* of 7.1 or worse as of 1st September 2009, or have no rating. Players must be in Years 11-13 or born between 1st September 1994 and 31st August 1991 inclusive.
- There are three events to enter; boys, girls or mixed.
- The boys and girls events require 4 players with the format being 4 singles and 2 doubles rubbers. The mixed event requires 2 boys & 2 girls in a team with the format being 4 doubles rubbers.
- Each rubber is one set.
