Schools Tennis Road Show
The Schools Tennis Road Show takes place in the Spring Term each year. The Road Show is targeted at the school sport infrastructure and aims to promote the ‘tennis offer’ – i.e. all the resource and support available to schools.
The 2010 Road Show took place at the following venues:
- Mon 22 February, Bolton
- Tue 23 February, Sunderland
- Wed 24 February, Leeds
- Fri 26 February, Wrexham
- Tue 2 March, Ipswich
- Wed 3 March, Leicester
- Thu 4 March, Dudley
- Fri 5 March, Coventry
- Tue 9 March, Bodmin
- Wed 10 March, Bristol
- Thu 11 March, Cardiff
- Mon 15 March, Bournemouth
- Thu 18 March, Roehampton
- Fri 19 March, Hatfi eld
- Fri 26 March, Stirling
2010 Fast Facts & Feedback:
- 15 - Number of Towns / Cities visited
- 650 - Number of attendees
- 97% - Of attendees rated the Road Show as ‘Excellent’ or ‘Good’
- 98% - Of attendees stated the Road Show inspired them to develop tennis further
- 3,250 - Number of free resources distributed to attendees
- £16,250 - Worth of Schools Tennis equipment vouchers distributed to attendees.
