Gifted & Talented

Winning Player Pathway:

The ‘Winning Player Pathway’ is a guide from the LTA that helps inform what standard a player needs to be, at a given age, if they are aspiring to become a player in the world’s top 100.

Talent Identification:

To ensure a steady flow of world-class players in Britain it is essential that we have a system of talent identification to spot potential performance players at a young age.

Over 200 County, Regional and National Talent ID Camps take place across Great Britain each year. Having identified those with the skills to become the top players of tomorrow, we can then provide them with the right coaching and support.

Funding:

Funding a player’s potential can be expensive and British Tennis helps by providing financial support for players and clubs, via a transparent and systematic approach to funding.
