Advice & Support

The Tennis Foundation wishes to provide the appropriate advice and support, to assist all involved with the delivery of schools tennis.

Many new resources and templates are currently being developed and will be made available later in 2008. However, please contact us in the meantime if you need any specific advice and support, which you can't currently find available on our site.

Lesson Plans:

We are currently working on the production of a new and exciting Schools Tennis DVD, which will be part of a comprehensive Primary Schools resource package, to include lesson plans. This new package will be available from September 2008 onwards and in the longer term, we will be working on new resources for Secondary Schools.

In the meantime, you can view our existing lesson plan resource here (Please note you are required to register).

Teacher Training:

We work closely with the LTA to offer Primary and Secondary Teacher Training Courses.

The Primary Course is 3hrs in duration and the Secondary Course takes 6hrs to complete. Upon completion of both courses, all participants receive a comprehensive resource pack.

Where possible, all courses should take place at school venues, to make the teaching environment as realistic as possible. Courses are organised locally via your County LTA Office, please get in touch to find out about courses near you.

Resources & Templates:

Over the coming year, The Tennis Foundation will be working hard to create a comprehensive range of resources and templates to make the life of everyone involved with delivering schools tennis much easier!

If you have any suggestions for the development of these resources and templates, or need any specific support in the meantime, please contact us.

Funding:

Please visit our Funding Page for more information about funding opportunities for tennis in the education sector.
