About:

Jack started playing deaf tennis in 2007 after attending a Tennis Foundation deaf tennis training session. He joined the Deaf Tennis Performance Programme in 2012 and has gone on to represent Great Britain in numerous international Deaf tennis events including the Dresse Cup, Deaflympics, European Championships and World Championships. In August 2015, Jack became the first Great Britain deaf tennis player to begin a college tennis scholarship in the USA. He is currently a Sophomore at Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia.  Jack has inspired his younger brother Toby to compete in Deaf Tennis.  He is also a keen footballer and supports Crystal Palace FC.

Major achievements:

  • 2016 European Deaf Tennis Championships Men’s Doubles bronze medallist (with Lewis Fletcher)
  • 2015 Men’s Doubles National Champion (with Lewis Fletcher)
  • 2012 European Deaf Tennis Championships U18 Boys Singles silver medallist
