Push2Podium

Push2Podium

Push2Podium is the Tennis Foundation’s exciting wheelchair tennis Talent ID programme! It aims to get more people playing wheelchair tennis and identify players who show potential as elite athletes.

Free Festivals

In the autumn we will be hosting Push2Podium festivals which are open to anyone of any age or ability. Experienced coaches will lead the festivals and all equipment will be provided if you do not have your own. Players will be signposted to their nearest wheelchair tennis session after the festival so they can continue to play the sport.

Talent ID coaches will be at each festival looking out for any players who show potential. If a player catch’s the eye of one of these coaches they may be invited on to the Tennis Foundation’s Wheelchair Tennis Development Squad. This is the first step to becoming an elite player. Squad players will receive support and guidance from Performance coaches on how to develop your game.
