Changing lives through tennis
We know first hand how tennis can help build confidence and develop skills, both on the court and off. Our Serves programme aims to transform the lives of disadvantaged people by giving them the opportunity to play tennis.
We take tennis into places it’s never been before, equipping local people trusted and rooted in communities with the skills to provide tennis activities for everyone. As part of Serves, the Tennis Activator course trains community champions with basic tennis organisation and delivery skills to confidently run a session in a fun and informal way. We also provide a range of dynamic and flexible resources including a permanent pop up court, alongside modified kit (soft balls, appropriately sized rackets and nets).
To make Serves happen, we work closely with specialist national partners including Sported, Streetgames, the Prince’s Trust, Sporting Equals, London Youth and Places for People, as well as Local Authorities, Children Youth Services and Faith groups. If you’re interested in becoming a Tennis Activator in your community, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
