New sponsorship
In 2010 the Lord's Taverners are again supporting an element of the Tennis Foundation's Wheelchair development programme. The Lord's Taverners Junior Wheelchair Development Programme will aim to introduce hundreds of junior wheelchair users to the sport of wheelchair tennis.

The Taverners will again be suporting the Lord’s Taverners Junior Wheelchair Tennis Championships in Gloucester – 29th - 30th May 2010. Entry forms will be available soon.
2007 to 2009 Lord's Taverners Disability Sport Appeal
In 2008 as part of the Lord’s Taverners Disability Sport Appeal. The Lord’s Taverners donated £20,000 to support various elements of junior wheelchair tennis development by The Tennis Foundation.
Elements of the programme included the production of information packs for potential players at schools and clubs and the Lord’s Taverners Junior Wheelchair Tennis Championships in Gloucester 2009.
The sponsorship also included the support of six young British players who attended the International Tennis Federation’s International Wheelchair Tennis Junior Camp in Utrecht in the Netherlands in August 2008.
