2008 Celebrity Golf Challenge

This year's Celebrity Golf Challenge will take place on Tuesday, 17th June 2008. This annual golf day, now in its 10th year, is the Dan Maskell Tennis Trust's major fundraising event of the year.
The Day aims to give all those taking part an informal, yet competitive, opportunity to enjoy one of the most prestigious golf clubs in the UK. Wentworth opens its facilities including 18 holes of golf on the East Course and hospitality including dinner in their wonderful ballroom.
Open to individuals, teams of 3 (with a celebrity) or 4, it is a suitable occasion for teams of friends or business colleagues; teams representing a company or club, or for corporate entertaining - and all for a charitable cause. Rory Bremner, Steve Davis and Virginia Wade are amongst the celebrities who have accepted the invitation to play.
The format is a shotgun start, Stableford competition (best 2 scores count) with handicap limits of 28 for men and 36 for ladies. Prizes for the first four teams plus longest drive and nearest the pin competitions. In addition, great raffle and auction prizes on offer

The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust has begun auctioning items on eBay. We shall be selling items of sport memorabilia and signed equipment (predominantly tennis) via auction.
